Honeymoon Finds!

I believe there are two requirements for any good honeymoon:  romance & relaxation.  Whether you’re wanting to travel the globe or stay closer to home, the following are fun finds for that ultimate vaca after the big event!

Napa

The stunning Bardessono Hotel is a hot, new property in the heart of California’s wine country: Napa Valley. This spa hotel delivers all the luxuries and can arrange for romantic adventures like hot air ballooning, wine tours, cycling, and more. Could also be a serious destination event spot for vino lovers.

Ladera

“A View with a Room” is what Ladera of St. Lucia uses to describe their incredible hotel experience.  If you could call it a hotel!  The resort property and open-air, guest rooms are built into a lush hillside of mango trees overlooking a secluded Caribbean beach.  Yes, you heard me right…open air rooms!  Netting for the canopy beds and squirt guns for the occasional bird that gets curious is provided by the hotel.  Now, if this sounds a little adventurous for you, a recent bride – who I know is all diva – just raved about their honeymoon at Ladera….food, service, quality for the money, and romance was 5 star!  She highly recommends it to anyone wanting to visit the Caribbean and knows she and her husband will return one day.

Thanks to Celeste Wilson at Abroad and Beyond Travel for being my go-to for all that is fabulous in honeymoons!  Consider a personal experience vs. the Internet for planning that most important vaca.  AND receive special offers if you reference the VOWS blog when calling.
